The aim of the project was the complex recultivation of the solid communal landfill of waste located at Magosliget (NE Hungary, 350 km from Budapest.) The planned recultivation included establishing the biological, so-called reed bed type rhizospheric sewage water cleaning and re-utilising plant. In this way not only the recultivation of the landfill of waste is resolved but the proposed, highly innovative technology ensures the cleaning and re-utilising of the sewage produced by four neighbouring villages (Magosliget, Uszka, Kispalád and Botpalád (altogether approximately 1.700 inhabitants)) as well. Additionally new job opportunities and alternative income sources will be created. |
