SCIENTIFIC MANAGER
An exciting opportunity has arisen for articulate and self-confident project managers from the EU-25, Candidate Countries or Newly Independent States to join our team in the following position: Scientific Manager.
Geonardo Ltd is now seeking ambitious and talented candidates from all over Europe, who have passion for the development of new and exciting EC projects and the management of existing ones.

Duties and Responsibilities - Managing EC projects of Geonardo (coordination of scientific, professional and administrative aspects in the same time;
- Developing competitive project proposals and/or tenders under various EC programs;
Requirements - Holds minimum a Master's degree in an environmental engineering / earth science field. Experience with the use of GIS and the interpretation of satellite data is an advantage.
- Perfect written and oral communication skills in English; (English mother tongue is and advantage);
- Verifiable experience with the management of environmental projects in an international environment;
- Direct experience in FP6, FP7 and/or LIFE III and/or e-Content and/or Leonardo da Vinci project proposal development is an advantage;
- Training experience
- Flexible and teamwork oriented personality.
If selected for an interview the candidate will have to present his/her draft project proposal with Geonardo Ltd as a lead partner (FP7 or other). The proposal should be reasonably well developed in terms of technical content and methodology and it should provide enough information to evaluate the organizational skills and creativity of the candidate.
